We wanted to know if people say that it costs too much to eat healthier, so why won’t the government make healthy food cheaper and unhealthy food more expensive would not. We also wanted to know if healthy food were cheaper would the nation’s obesity level go down. We chose this question because we think it is interesting and important. In addition, if this happened it would make a difference and would probably help the death rate decrease. Therefore, the government should put more thought into the world’s food since it is the leading cause of death because it would make a difference and help save lives.

Our report is about how America is the most obese country in the world and we really need to get in shape. There is tons of ways to get healthier and to stay healthy. It would be much easier if the government would invest more money into what we eat. If they make healthy food prices go down the number of obese people will also go done and that is what most Americans want these days. It would go down because more people would buy healthier food and less people would buy fatting food and that would make America lose weight.

Many people in America say that they are obese because they do not have enough money to buy healthy food because it is so expensive and if you go to a fast food places like McDonalds you can feed your whole family for fewer than 10 dollars. People say fast food is cheap, easy and fast. If people want to get in shape there is a way and it does not cost anything just go outside and go for a walk or go biking with your family. The saying fast food is cheap, easy and fast is another reason that America is the most obese country. We have about 2 times the amount of fast food restaurants as any other country and it is fast and cheap. So why would people buy fast food instead of spending time cooking homemade meals.

Well since America has the option of just getting in the car, pulling up into a drive through and getting are food nobody really wants to walk in the kitchen, cook the food, set the table, serve the food, and do the dishes after your done. If we didn’t have some many fast food restaurants everybody in America would not have that option to drive 5 minutes to get to a fast food place so it would be cheaper and a better to cook homemade meals.

Our conclusion is that people should start eating healthier at home and the schools should start to make the lunches healthier. The parents should at least try to cook super, and encourage the kids to try to eat healthier so they do not become over weight. Therefore, an interesting fact is that the number one cause of cause of obese starts at home! The graph shows how the USA is overweight!
